New California
Over a decade after the worst economic crash in world history, governments all around the globe have collapsed into shadows of their former selves. To add insult to injury, environmental issues are now at their peak causing conflict to erupt over natural resources and habitable land. The now Divided States of America are no exception. Few states remain intact, and even fewer wield a fraction of their former economic and military prowess. California, now known as “New California,” is one of those few. California managed to survive the initial fall of the US Federal Government with the state government barely holding the entire region together up until now. Many people are now tired of just surviving, and are demanding California claims power. Realizing the need for change, a number of politicians, former business leaders, celebrities, and other notable figures of society have been convened into the Californian Provisional Emergency Council (CPEC) in order to create a new nation that will thrive in these turbulent times. Delegates should expect the unexpected in this dynamic and fast-paced chapter of California’s future.
